Martek Increases Market Penetration of Nutritional Oils
COLUMBIA, Md.--Martek Biosciences Corp.'s nutritional oils, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and arachidonic acid (ARA), are now available in term infant formula in Mexico, Venezuela, Uruguay, Colombia and Argentina. The formula is manufactured by Wyeth Nutritionals International.
In related news, Mead Johnson Nutritionals, maker of Enfamil infant formula, introduced a new formula containing DHA and ARA from Martek.
