COLUMBIA, Md.--Martek Biosciences Corp. announcedthat its docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and arachidonic acid (ARA) have been addedto two new products from Mead Johnson Nutritionals. The products--EnfamilPremature LIPIL and Enfamil EnfaCare LIPIL--recently received clearance fromthe Food and Drug Administration (FDA).In related company news, Martek announced that its blend of DHAand AA are ingredients in three new products from the Ross Products Division atAbbott Laboratories. NeoSure Advance, Similac Special Care and SimilacNatural Care are infant formulas created for premature infants.
