<p>Sabinsa has received four new international patents for several ingredients and proprietary blends.</p>

EAST WINDSOR, N.J.—Sabinsa has received four new international patents for several ingredients and proprietary blends. This brings Sabinsa’s portfolio to 91 patents. The four new patents are from Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Eurasia.

The Australian patent is for the proprietary process technology behind the Ocufors® formulation and ophthalmic applications thereof. New Zealand’s patent is for a unique formulation incorporating proprietary ingredients Saberry®, Cococin™ and PeptiSelene®/PeptiSelect®. The Taiwanese patent is for the proprietary ingredient Polysal® and its ability to modulate the expression of the pro-inflammatory cytokines network. The Eurasia patent covers a dermal papilla protective formulation blending ingredients Saberry® and Cococin™. This formula was previously awarded a patent in New Zealand as well.

In February, Sabinsa received another seven international patents.
