SAN CLEMENTE, Calif.--Metagenics Inc. received a new U.S.patent (No. 6,528,502) for Endurabolic, a dietary supplement with acombination of nutrients that promote insulin utilization and glucosemanagement. The patent ("Composition and method for improved carbohydratemanagement in mammals") covers use of a combination nutritional supplementto enhance the physiological effects of insulin. Among the ingredients inEndurabolic are vanadium, chromium, niacin, zinc and B vitamins.
