ASHDOD, Israel--Solbar Hatzor Ltd. (www.solbar.com) received several awards from the American Oil Chemists Society's (AOCS) Laboratory Proficiency Program (LPP): first place in two categories of analysis of protein, fiber, oil and moisture levels in soybean samples, and honorable mention for analytical determination of oilseed meal. The LPP is the most-extensive and respective proficiency program for oil- and fat-related commodities, oilseeds, oilseed meals and edible fats, with an objective of helping companies achieve and maintain peak performance of laboratory staff and equipment.
"We have cooperated with the AOCS Laboratory Proficiency Program for more than 10 years to ensure the highest professional standards for supplying accurate and consistent analytical results of soy protein products," said Trevor Meredith, chief technologist at Solbar. "We are very proud that during the last decade, Solbar has repeatedly been honored by the LPP for excellent performance and analytical work."
