Mizkan Promotes Maggie Harvey

MT. PROSPECT, Ill.Mizkan Americas' Food Ingredients division promoted Maggie Harvey to new product development manager at the company's research and development facility in Lake Alfred, Fla.

In the new position, Harvey will work in tandem with the sales team and assume more responsibilities for successfully developing products to grow the Mizkan Food Ingredients' Asian and Hispanic flavors businesses. She will also be part of optimizing the company's new software for its labeling program.

Harvey joined the Mizkan research and development team in 2010 where she specialized in the vinegar and cooking wines development program. She has also been instrumental in building the company's wine reduction development for key food manufacturing customers. Prior to joining Mizkan, Harvey worked in quality assurance for Florida Distillers. She earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of South Florida and bachelor's degree from the Memorial University of Newfoundland.

The company also recently introduced its all natural Bourbon Reductions for food formulation
