SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—International Dehydrated Foods Inc. (IDF) will introduce its expanded ARC™ Concentrated Protein Chicken Powder ingredient line at SupplySide West 2014.

“Following the success of our ARC 70 Concentrated Protein Chicken Powder, we have continued to work on the development of our ARC line to create additional ARC powders with higher protein concentrations," said Stephanie Lynch, vice president of IDF technology, sales and marketing.

IDF brought its poultry ingredient expertise to its development of health and wellness-focused ingredients that support sports nutrition and functional foods and beverages, which can offer allergen-free and kid-friendly protein supplements such as high-protein pasta and extruded snacks.

 “In addition to expanding our range of protein ingredients, we’re also developing a highly functional chicken broth," Lynch said. “In preliminary tests, this broth has demonstrated anti-inflammatory properties and has shown promise for maintaining healthy joints."
