PARSIPPANY, N.J.Degussa FoodIngredients (www.degussafoodingredients.com) introduced LECI-PS® 20 V IP, a non-GMO version of itsLECI-PS soybean lecithin available in concentrations of 20 percent to 90 percentphosphatidylserine. Applications for the new product include stable softgelcapsules, millet- or oat-based pellets and waterdispersible powder.

In addition, the company now offers ALA SOL, a patentedalphalipoic acid (ALA) and polysorbate ingredient manufactured by the Germancompany Aquanova. The clear, stable powder has a micelle structure and is idealfor use in beverages, ready-to-use softgel formulations and foods. ALA SOL isdesigned to provide excellent solubility in water, as well as improved shelflife and bioavailability.
