The flax lignan extract is produced from flax hullsand is standardized to contain 20-percent SDG (secoisolariciresinoldiglycoside), the main lignan in flaxseed. It can be used in capsules ortablets, and because of its high lignan content, one-per-day formulations can bedeveloped, according to the company. The extract is also suitable for flax oilenrichment and cosmetic applications. LinumLife EXTRA is produced according toEuropean Pharmacopoeia guidelines in a GMP- (good manufacturing practices) andICP-certified process.
