<p>Novel Ingredient Services will open a second manufacturing facility this June that triples the company&#8217;s blending capabilities and more than doubles granulation, roller compaction and high-shear granulation capacity.</p>

WEST CALDWELL, N.J.—Novel Ingredient Services will open a second manufacturing facility this June that triples the company’s blending capabilities and more than doubles granulation, roller compaction and high-shear granulation capacity. The new 40,000-sqaure-foot facility, located East Hanover, New Jersey, has been ISO 9001:2008 certified and registered to the NSF International Dietary Supplement Ingredient Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) program.

"We are committed to investing in value-added ingredient manufacturing capabilities and technology," said Bob Green, Novel chairman.  "The new facility, coupled with Novel's multiple quality accreditations and in-house technical expertise, will enable manufacturers to reduce manufacturing costs while optimizing productivity and enhancing the quality of their products."

Novel’s new plant will include state-of-the-art will include equipment to further the company’s capabilities, including the micro-pulverizer, the fluid bed granulator, two 100-cubic-feet V-blenders, two 4x10 roller compactors, a 60-cubic foot blender, a 30-cubic foot blender, three dual-chamber drying ovens and two high-shear mixers.

Novel Ingredient Services is a supplier of botanical and nutraceutical raw materials. The company’s international service network includes distribution facilities on the east and west coasts of the United States, as well as an office in China.
