Natural Products INSIDER Developing Digital Issue, Digital Summit on Curcumin

Natural Products INSIDER will develop a Digital Issue on curcumin as well as host a Digital Summit titled “The Curcumin Battleground."

PHOENIX—VIRGO an information distribution company focused on the most innovative and complex business-to-business markets that fuel the U.S. and world economies, recently announced that Natural Products INSIDER, official media for SupplySide, will develop a Digital Issue on curcumin as well as host a Digital Summit titled “The Curcumin Battleground."

“One of the hottest topics in recent months has been curcumin, the exciting ingredient derived from turmeric that is showing all kinds of applications and benefits," said Jon Benninger, vice president of VIRGO’s health & nutrition network. “So far this year, we have reported on several studies about curcumin bioavailability as well as research on benefits for joint health, prostate health, cognitive health and other health conditions. We have also seen a stream of curcumin-based ingredients entering the market from a variety of companies."

As a result, Natural Products INSIDER will be releasing a special Digital Issue solely focused on curcumin, which will include research overviews, market strategies, formulation strategies and sourcing considerations. This Thematic Digital Issue is made possible by underwriting support from industry supplier Sabinsa and will be released in early July.

In conjunction with the Thematic Digital Issue, Natural Products INSIDER has also created a platform for up to five curcumin suppliers to offer insights into their unique science and research, market position and point of differentiation to help manufacturers make an informed buying decision to bring an innovative consumer product to market successfully.

At the time of this release, participating suppliers in the “Digital Summit: The Curcumin Battleground" event include Sabinsa (with its Curcumin C3 Complex®), Verdure Sciences (LONGVIDA®) and Thera Innovations Inc. (Theracurmin®). Additional curcumin suppliers are expected to commit, and more information will be available soon to the Natural Products INSIDER and SupplySide audiences.
