QUEBEC, Canada—Fruit d'Or invited various nutraceutical brand marketers to experience its cranberry bog, its harvest and processing of Cran Naturelle, the company’s signature organic cranberry ingredient.

One of the reasons for this event is that Fruit d'Or "wants to demonstrate our transparency, and to literally showcase what we do beyond words," said said Stephen Lukawski, director of business development and sales. “It is important for our customers to understand the quality differences that sets up apart from other cranberry suppliers in areas such as standardization, traceability, efficacy, authenticity and vertical integration. When brand marketers can experience and witness how the humble cranberry is transformed into material ready for consumer product manufacturing, it's a powerful and educational experience.

"Agritourism is a growing popular concept that brings consumers to farms, we heartily encourage industry suppliers that own and process natural ingredients to consider hosting a harvest tour," Lukawski added. “This develops rich, long-term partnerships to bring the best ingredients possible to consumers."

Earlier this year, Fruit d’Or received approval on urinary tract health claims.
