When it comes to the fight against botanical adulteration in the natural products industry, Mark Blumenthal’s efforts top the list. As founder and executive director of the American Botanical Council (ABC) and director of the ABC-AHP-NCNPR Botanical Adulterants Prevention Program (BAPP), Blumenthal has spent the better part of four decades creating resources to aid in the authentication of a wide range of botanicals.
