HAUPPAGE, NY Bio-Botanica®, Inc. is planning to expand one of its two manufacturing plants by 24,000 square feet. The Hauppauge facility will measure 164,000 square feet after construction is complete.

Bio-Botanica is a family-owned and operated botanicals company. Using manufactured ingredients from the United States, the company creates more than 500 botanical extracts for personal care, cosmetics, food, beverages and supplements.

The company expects the expansion will create approximately 60 new jobs by 2014 and eventually increase annual production.
