Sabinsa Develops New Forskolin Product

PISCATAWAY, N.J.Scientists at Sami Labs Ltd. India, the research and development and production arm of Sabinsa USA, developed a stable formulation of Forskolin eye drops for use in managing ocular hypertension and glaucoma. The company is in the process of filing an Investigational New Drug (IND) application for the product in India, and plans to conduct multiple clinical trials as part of the IND protocol. The patent-pending formulation contains natural Forskolin from Coleus forskohlii solubilized in water using a specialized method.
