RONKONKOMA, N.Y.Rochem International launched MANNIPURE® mannitol, a sweetener ideal for diabetic formulations. All grades of MANNIPURE conform to USP/EP/JP monographs and are produced under pharmaceutical GMPs (good manufacturing practices). MANNIPURE is approximately 50 to 70 percent as sweet as sugar and provides a cool sweet taste; it does not promote tooth decay or affect blood sugar or insulin levels. Because MANNIPURE is less sweet than sugar, it can also be used as a stabilizer and bulking agent in supplements.
