PURCHASE, N.Y.—Quality of Life Labs (QOL) acquired from Bioactives LLC the rights to the Perfect Smile® brand and the patent license for the use of MicroActive® coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) in oral care products. The product line includes a full line of functional oral care products enhanced with MicroActive CoQ10; the co-branded products will be sold as a part of the Quality of Life line.
BioActives LLC, located in Worcester, Massachusetts, is an ingredient development company that recently launched the patent-pending MicroActive Technology, designed to increase active ingredients’ bioavailability with sustained release. The technology has been applied to nine active ingredients licensed by and marketed through Maypro Industries.
