OmniActive Health Technologies marks the one year anniversary of the launch of its award-winning education campaign, Lutein for Every Age. The campaign is aimed at natural products industry members, health care professionals and consumers and raises awareness of the importance of early and consistent lutein supplementation for maintaining proper health over a lifetime. During the past year, OmniActive enlisted the help of Jeffrey Anshel, OD, FAAO, president of the Ocular Nutrition Society and  James Stringham, Ph.D., infant neural and ocular development researcher at the University of Georgia, to speak on the benefits of lutein when taken over a lifetime.

“We have accomplished a lot over the past year in terms of raising visibility surrounding lutein and its crucial role in overall health, but for us this is just the beginning," said Lynda Doyle, global vice president of marketing at OmniActive. “Lutein for Every Age is a long-term campaign that we hope will help close the dietary and generational gap that exists for lutein intake."
