IRVINE, Calif.—Nutegrity added ThriVexan Mangosteen Extract, an ingredient naturally harvested from mangosteen fruit, to its expanding portfolio of branded ingredients.

ThriVexan helps support a healthy inflammatory response and may provide temporary relief of minor muscle pain associated with strenuous activity.

ThriVexan is harvested from the whole fruit, including pericarp, fruit and seeds, and it is standardized to 10-percent mangosteen. While most mangosteen products are standardized only for alpha mangosteen, ThriVexan is standardized for both alpha and gamma mangosteen content to provide maximum benefits.

Mangosteen contains an array of vitamins and minerals, including a group of compounds in the rind called xanthones. Xanthones have powerful antioxidant properties; studies and ongoing research indicate that xanthones may provide a number of health benefits, which include supporting the immune system, supporting intestinal flora and helping maintain cell integrity.
