LOS ANGELESJarrow Formulas Inc. has recently launched a BioAstin® astaxanthin product intended to promote health inflammatory response. Astaxanthin is made from fermented Haematococcus pluvialis microalgae and offers antioxidant protection important to skin, joint, brain and eye health. In fact, Jarrow noted astaxanthin can cross the blood-brain and blood-retinal barriers to deliver its benefits.

Each bottle contains 60 softgels, with each delivering 4 mg BioAstin astaxanthin, which is supplied by Cyanotech.  The company said recommended usage is one softgel per day with a meal or as directed by your qualified health care consultant.
