InterHealth Receives Second Consecutive Win at Scripps Natural Supplements Conference

InterHealth Nutraceuticals research poster, which summarized data on the impact of Zychrome on maintaining healthy insulin levels, came in first place at the 2014 Scripps Natural Supplement Conference in San Diego. Zychrome is a new patent-pending, chromium containing supplement ingredient from InterHealth. The data was derived from a randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled study published in 2012 in the journal Molecular Nutrition and Food Research. The abstract will be published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine later this year.

This is the second year in a row that clinical research by InterHealth has received first place at the Scripps Natural Supplements Conference. Last year, research on the joint health ingredient UC-II was awarded first place. Zychrome also received the 2012 NutrAward for best new ingredient.

This success is a clear signal that the research done by InterHealth continues to gain recognition within the supplements industry as cutting edge and high quality work," said Paul Dijkstra, president and CEO of InterHealth.

InterHealth researches, develops, markets and distributes specialty nutritional ingredients, which are sold globally to manufacturers of dietary supplements and nutraceutical food and beverage products.
