According to market research firm Euromonitor International, foods positioned for immune health represented a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of -21 percent from 2010 to 2015, while the market for immune-boosting beverages represented a CAGR of -3.6 percent.

Despite the decline, innovation is on the upswing, with up-and-coming immune health ingredients starring in several new product launches in the food and beverage categories.
