ARS: Citrus Limonoids Fight Cancer

Citruslimonoids have been shown to fight cancers of the mouth, skin, lung, breast,stomach and colon, according to coverage in the February issue of AgriculturalResearch magazine (www.ars.usda.gov/AR) surroundingseveral years of research conducted by scientists from the U.S. Department ofAgricultures Agricultural Research Service (ARS). The ARS researchers workhas included clinical studies suggesting citrus limonoids are highlybioavailable and lower production of apo B, a liver compound associated withelevated cholesterol levels.
