Industry has been attracting more eyes as Alive Media Group (AMG) launches a new national TV production to showcase natural products. In addition, companies such as Helios Corp. and Embria Health Sciences announced news of their own efforts to expand brand outreach.

AMG launched its national TV production, the Alive & Well HEALTH MINUTE™, to offer 60-second informational segments airing on major cable TV networks nationwide. According to AMG CEO Mark Harris, AMG has deals in place with Lifetime, HGTV, Food Network, Discovery and major cable networks. HEALTH MINUTE is hosted by TV host and healthy lifestyle expert Michelle Harris, and the tagline for the new series is “Tips for Living and Products for Life." It will feature tips and product information across all natural categories, including nutritional supplements, natural beauty products, fitness, sports nutrition, as well as vegan, vegetarian and organic foods.

Helios Corp. is also attracting attention by launching a new website for its Estrog100 menopause relief ingredient. The ingredient recently received the "betternutrition.com" award for top women's health menopause supplement of 2014 . Estrog-100 can support menopause relief in as few as seven to 14 days and is backed by three human clinical studies.

In addition, an online survey conducted by Embria Health Sciences indicates an increasing awareness of its immune support ingredient, EpiCor, among supplement users. The survey, undertaken January 12, 2015, found nearly 17 percent of the U.S. population that takes immune health dietary supplements have heard of the yeast fermentate ingredient. These results reveal a new potential in the demand for everyday immune support supplements, according to the company.
