Now in its 6th year, the SupplySide CPG Editor's Choice Awards recognizes some of the coolest new launches of consumer packaged goods (CPG) products across more than 20 categories.
U.S. consumers are snacking more frequently than ever, especially on salty snacks that raked in an estimated $22 billion in sales in 2015. The salty-but-healthy dichotomy also has spurred growth in the category. An organic shelf-stable hummus, boldly seasoned organic gluten-free tortilla chips, gluten-free vegetable chips containing eight different veggies, protein crisps packed with 10 g of plant protein, and a multi-pack of small batch kettle chips featuring four different flavors for on-the-go snacking are among the top five products vying for the 2017 CPG Editor’s Choice Award in the Snacks: Salty category.
One winner in each category will be announced on the SupplySide Central Stage at SupplySide West 2017, held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The supplement winners will be revealed Wednesday, Sept. 27, from 1:30 to 2 p.m., followed by the food and beverage winners—presented by Cargill—on Thursday, Sept. 28, from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Click the following link to learn more about the networking event or to register for SupplySide West.
