ProbioHealth's Research on KE-99 LACTO Published

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.--ProbioHealth, a division of Harvest Research Inc., announced the publication of its probiotics study. KE-99 LACTO™ was found to be more effective than competitive probiotic strains, according to research conducted by Narain Naidu, Ph.D., that was published in the March issue of Current Microbiology Journal (44, 3:196-205, 2002)(http://link.springer.de). According to the company (www.probiohealth.com), KE-99 LACTO has the ability to survive and adhere to intestinal sites, helps digestion and can overcome pathogenic bacteria. In his paper, Naidu outlined the methodology and results demonstrating KE-99 LACTO to be "highly adherent" compared to other strains, as well as its superior sulfide and ammonia reduction properties and its ability to "inhibit and/or displace pathogens" including E. coli.
