GoodBelly Launches Shake, FrieslandCampina Wins FiE Award

Two companies, GoodBelly and FrieslandCampina Kievit, announce exciting news regarding their innovative products.

GoodBelly, a line of probiotic drinks formulated for daily digestive health, announced a new line of multi-functional beverages—GoodBelly Protein Shakes. These new shakes offer 15 g of plant-based protein to nourish the body, as well 40 billion live and active probiotic cultures to support digestive health. Good Belly Protein Shakes are available in three flavors: tropical coconut, green power and triple berry.

GoodBelly Protein Shakes feature the same probiotic strain used in the brand’s existing line-up, Lactobacillus plantarum 299v (LP299V®), which can withstand the stomach’s acidic environment, allowing it to reach the digestive system and positively support digestive health when consumed daily.

FrieslandCampina Kievit, a global supplier of ingredients to food and beverage brands, won the FiE Innovation Award 2015 in the category “Best Beverage Innovation" for their product, Vana-Cappa 26W. Vanna-Cappa 26W is an “extra-texture" foaming creamer that meets consumer needs for an indulgent café-style coffee at home. It improves an instant Italian-style coffee with foam texture, structure, stability, as well as a delicious taste. Vana-Cappa 26W is based on non-HVO refined coconut oil and meets consumer needs regarding health consciousness and more natural ingredients.

FrieslandCamoina Kievit was also nominated as a finalist in the category “Best Bakery Innovation" for its Vana –Monte DP96, which is the first whipping agent made of refined non-HVO vegetable oils for cake filling-, desserts- and Italian ice cream applications.
