SUNNYVALE, Calif. Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.'s new Thermo Scientific TRACE 1300 Series GC system offers manufacturers an option to conserve helium and use multiple detectors simultaneously. The gas chromatography (GC) system also automates sampling gas workflows and detects flame photometrics.

The TRACE 1300 Series GC platform includes a high-capacity TRACE 1310 auxiliary oven, featuring multi-valve, multi-column capacity, for use of up to four conventional detectors simultaneously. The equipment's Instant Connect Helium Saver module reduces helium consumption by approximately 80 percent, offering drastic cost savings.

The Thermo Scientific Dionex Chromeleon chromatography data system can control the newly released TRACE 1300 Series GC for streamlined workflows.
