NEW HAMPTON, N.Y.—Balchem Corporation’s SensoryEffects business segment plans to make a multi-million dollar investment in agglomeration technology and production equipment, which will complement its capabilities in drying and blending of emulsified powders for various markets.
"We are very pleased to announce this strategic growth initiative," said Jim Holdrieth, vice president and general manager, SensoryEffects Ingredient Solutions. “This investment in agglomeration technology will enable SensoryEffects to better serve our existing and prospective customers as we broaden our technology and create a low cost, 'one stop shop' for high quality finished powder solutions. The agglomeration project is expected to be operational by the fourth quarter of 2015."
