SupplySide West Podcast 17: Reflecting on Product Claims Workshop

Josh Long, legal and regulatory editor, and Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) Associate General Counsel Rend Al-Mondhiry briefly explore a few points that were raised during the product claims workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at SupplySide West in Las Vegas, including:

  • A 2015 court decision involving Bayer and the FTC;
  • The distinction between structure/function claims and disease claims; and
  • Industry’s exposure to class-action litigation based on “Made in USA” claims and other statements.
