FDA Extends Comment Period for Dietary Fiber Labeling

<p style="text-align: left;" dir="ltr">FDA announced it will provide an additional 30 days to comment on its request for scientific data, information and comments to help the agency determine whether certain fibers should be added to the definition of "dietary fiber" published as part of the Nutrition Facts label final rule. The original comment period was set to close on January 9, 2017.</p>
