SUMMIT, N.J.—Israel-based Enzymotec opened a subsidiary in the United States designed to manage its ongoing sales and enable enhanced service to Enzymotec’s North American accounts. Elzaphan Hotam, formerly Enzymotec’s vice president of business development, will manage the new U.S. operation. “This is a significant move for Enzymotec,” Hotam said. “Beyond better service and faster response, we believe it will also enable us to expand our services to other markets as well as to serve as a local base for additional business activities.”
