In 2019, the INSIDER and SupplySide team is honoring the most innovative product launches that showcase the best about the health and nutrition industry. We’re looking for products and brands that prioritize integrity, innovation and inspiration to enter our NEXTY awards at SupplySide West.

We want to honor stand-out products that help consumers meet their health goals, while also sustaining the environment and aiding the communities that help create the product. We want product claims backed by science. We want eye-catching packaging with minimal carbon footprints. We want products that serve neglected populations in interesting ways. We want compelling “whys” behind product innovation and a great marketing campaign that tells the story.

We’re looking for finalists in these categories:

  • Best Allergen-Free Product

  • Best Brand Storytelling on New Product

  • Best Clean Label Food/Beverage

  • Best Condition-Specific Supplement

  • Best Digestive Health Product

  • Best Functional Food/Beverage

  • Best Life Stage-Specific Supplement

  • Best Multivitamin

  • Best Nutrient Delivery Innovation

  • Best Product for Pet/Animal Health

  • Best Sports Nutrition Food/Beverage

  • Best Sports Nutrition Supplement

  • Best Supply Chain Partnership

The NEXTY Awards at SupplySide is itself a “product revamp” of sorts. Formerly known as the “SupplySide Editors Choice Awards,” we’ve rebranded to solidify the NEXTY brand—which has gained industry recognition at Informa’s Natural Product Expo West and Expo East trade shows—with INSIDER and SupplySide. While the INSIDER editors will continue to play a large role in determining the finalists and winners, this year and beyond, we are also inviting industry experts with product innovation and launch experience to evaluate and vote on the top products.

The winners of these NEXTY Awards will be announced at SupplySide West on Oct. 18 on our Central stage at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Award finalists will be honored in slide shows on INSIDER leading up to SupplySide West, will be featured in a product showcase at the show, and will receive feedback from judges on product attributes. In addition, Winners will receive a trophy and access to the NEXTY Award winners' toolkit, which offers a customizable press release, social media tools, a winners' logo and insider tips to maximize the award. And of course, all finalists and winners get major bragging rights.

The deadline to apply to the awards is July 26, 2019; products must have launched between summer 2018 and July 26, 2019. Learn more about the awards, and nominate your products on the SupplySide West website.
