SALT LAKE CITYIndia-based AVT Natural Products launched its new line of condition-specific products, OptimHealth, in India. The company worked with BrandHive for the branding, and has thus far reported a successful introduction, targeting Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad.
In preparation for the launch, BrandHive and AVT conducted market research, including local focus groups. Research efforts found the consumers were open to a modern approach medicine, especially if it incorporated Ayurvedic elements. With the information, BrandHive helped AVT develop a brand story, product formulation and packaging.
Although the branding of a product line for India was a first for the BrandHive team, keeping sight of the importance of a cultural understanding was clear," said Jeff Hilton, co-founder and partner of BrandHive. The launch of OptimHealth was a success because it reflected what we call modernized tradition into every element of the brand including photography, the website, marketing collateral and the overall launch strategy."
