ESSEN, Germany—German specialty chemical company Evonik won an Award of Merit in the China Personal Care & Cosmetics Innovation Award category at the Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) 2014 for its hair and scalp care active ingredient SPHINGONY.
SPHINGONY is a skinidentical sphingolipid that rebalances the growth cycle of the hair and repairing follicles. This product has been shown to prevent hair loss, especially in the case of androgenic alopecia.
