This week, BI Nutraceuticals is conducting tours at its 150,000-square-foot manufacturing facility located in Long Beach, California. The tours will last from March 2 to 6, leading up to Expo West/Engredea in Anaheim, California. Anyone interested in learning more about the company’s industry-leading technologies in botanical ingredient identification, quality assurance, dry steam sterilization and processing is invited to participate. Another upcoming event includes the annual American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) member meeting and breakfast, which will take place March 5 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Natural Products Expo West. This year's meeting will feature a keynote speech by Josephine P. Briggs, M.D., Director of the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The meeting will also feature the AHPA Board of Trustees election and presentation of the 2015 AHPA Awards. In addition, AHPA committees will meet throughout Expo West to discuss issues that are impacting various aspects of the herbal products industry and help guide future AHPA projects and actions.
