EuroPharma President Wins NPA Award

GREEN BAY, Wis.The Natural Products Association (NPA) Southeast recognized Terry Lemerond, EuroPharma®'s president and founder, with its President's Award for his decades of contributions to the natural products industry. Lemerond received the award at the organization's annual meeting in December.

"Each year, the Southeast Natural Products Association honors a special person from within the natural foods community with the Presidents Award, presented to someone who has made a lifetime contribution to the natural products industry. I was thrilled to be able to honor Terry this year," said NPA Southeast president Karen Greenway, who presented Lemerond the award. There is no one more iconic and deserving than Terry. It is especially personal to me, as it was crossing paths with Terry in the mid-1990s that changed the course of my life in a positive way."

With more than 40 years of experience in the industry, Lemerond has founded Enzymatic Therapy, PhytoPharmica and EuroPharma, which was nominated for multiple categories in the SupplySide West Editor's Choice Awards. Lemerond sold the first two companies in 2000. He also introduced botanical standardization to the U.S. market.
