Oct. 26, 2016–Belleville, New Jersey-- Ecuadorian Rainforest, a wholesale ingredients supplier in Belleville, New Jersey, has promoted Ramon Luna to marketing coordinator for the company.

 Luna started his career as a general news reporter at several New Jersey newspapers including the Jersey Journal and The Observer in Kearny. Afterward, he moved on to market research working at MEDIARadar, a comprehensive advertising data firm, putting together information for ad sales departments as well as ad purchasers.

A member of the Ecuadorian Rainforest family since 2013, Luna has worked in the marketing department alongside the company’s vice president Steve Siegel. He helped put a public face on the company not only offering marketing insights on the company’s botanical ingredients but served as the company’s representative at domestic and international industry events including Engredea, SupplySide West and Vitafoods Europe.

 “I am deeply grateful for the company’s faith in me,” said Luna. “I will work hard to promote the company’s ingredients throughout to the industry and the world. I hope I can make them proud.”

 Luna will be charged with the company’s marketing strategy as well as promotion, including advertisement planning and budgeting, planning trade shows, and maintaining the message of the company wherever he goes.
