The Dairy Research Institute’s third annual New Product Competition focused on developing a new dairy or dairy-based product for baby boomers. Undergraduate and graduate students in the United States and Canada were challenged with developing new product concepts to meet the needs of active adults who are increasingly motivated by goals of independence, longevity and prevention of chronic diseases associated with aging.
