CRN Adds 14 New Members

WASHINGTON The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), a trade association for the dietary supplement industry, announced the addition of 14 companies to its membership roster, the largest number of quarterly additions in recent CRN history. The increase comes after steady growth in 2013, following CRNs new dues structure announced last July .

Were pleased to see such a robust response to the work that CRN does to strengthen this industry for its responsible companies and their customers, said Steve Mister, CRN president and CEO. Its extremely gratifying to represent companies that are at the top of their game and committed to long-term, sustainable growth. Youre only as good as the company you keep, and were looking forward to welcoming these 14 companies into the CRN family.

The new dues structure introduced last year made membership affordable for more companies, offering growth for CRN, according to the director of membership, Carl Hyland. In addition to the new dues structure, CRN now recognizes four categories of voting members: branded finished product manufacturers, contract manufacturers , ingredient manufacturers, and ingredient representatives/distributors.

The new members companies include nine voting members and five associate members. CRN welcomed the following members:
