GARDENA, Calif.—Nature’s Power Nutraceuticals (NP Nutra) will formally launch its plant-protein power blend, NutraPower Protein Blend, at SupplySide West in October.

The blend is a special formulation that uses the synergistic nutritional power of known plant superfoods that are excellent sources of protein, essential and non-essential amino acids, as well as other vital nutrients.

It contains Sacha Inchi, a superfood sourced from the Amazon Rain Forest, which is rich in protein and amino acids, including tryptophan that can help regulate hunger. It also contains brown rice powder, pea protein and hemp powder, three ingredients that provide high levels of plant protein and contribute to muscle metabolism and growth.

NutraPower Protein Blend also contains Suma 4:1, a good source of 19 amino acids, essential vitamins and minerals, trace elements and electrolytes. Suma, also known as Brazilian ginseng, is an energy-booster and hormone stabilizer that helps the body tolerate stress.

The blend also contains green papaya juice powder, which aids in digestion and contains a powerful enzyme to break down amino acids, and Moringa powder, which comes from the “miracle tree" Moringa Oleifera and has vital nutrients and antioxidants.

The NutraPower Protein Blend is mildly sweetened with stevia and natural vanilla, and it is ideal for energy drinks, smoothies and baked goods.
