Description:
Consumption of lignans has been associated with decreasing menopausal symptoms, like hot flashes, as well as improved breast health, cardiovascular health and cognitive function in postmenopausal women.
Join Donald Brown, N.D., a leading authority on evidence-based natural medicines, as he presents new research from a clinical trial in U.S. women conducted by Medicus Research that explores the effect of HMRlignan™, a highly bioavailable, low-dose source of lignans from the Norway spruce, on enterolactone production, estrogen metabolite levels, and hot flashes in menopausal women. Dr. Brown will present the study design as well as completed pharmacokinetic data demonstrating the ability of low doses of HMRlignan™ to effectively raise enterolactone levels in menopausal women.
