Description:
Join this Webinar to learn more about the fundamental elements of

will:
- Examine how the standard American diet is one of caloric abundance,
micronutrient deficiencies and problematic additives
- Explore the potential to delay the onset of age-related disease
- Reinforce the application of the 2005 USDA Food Pyramid
www.MyPyramid.gov
guidelines and Medicare PQRI incentives for including supplemental
vitamins/minerals in optometry practices
- Discuss how certain pharmaceuticals induce nutritional deficits and
how interactions with medications and supplementation side effects are
possible, but rare
- Review how preventive medicine also encompasses non-nutritional
elements such as stress reduction and exercise.
