She will briefly mention valuable lab tests that are run to discern exactly what is the matter with a patient’s gut and will cover some of the multitudinous factors, rampant in modern American society, which break the gut down. Morstein will also cover the science behind the benefits of probiotics, fiber, and digestive enzymes and the proper way to supplement these products.

Dr. Mona Morstein received her B.S. summa cum laude in Foods and Nutrition from Arizona State University, in Tempe, Ariz., and her ND, naturopathic physician degree, from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Morstein has a successful family practice focusing on acute and chronic diseases. She is recognized in the naturopathic profession as an expert on diabetes, metabolic syndrome, women's healthcare, and gastroenterology.
Dr. Morstein treats patient using the modalities of nutrition, western botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, nutraceuticals and naturopathic manipulation therapy.
