She has recently been promoted to the role of director of natural products research and offers a deep understanding of key industry trends and insight. Christenson completed her MBA from the University of San Francisco in 2006, emphasizing marketing and finance. Prior to SPINS, she was a senior corporate finance analyst within the investment banking industry.

Carolyn Dean, MD, ND, has been in the forefront of health issues for 28 years. She graduated from Dalhousie Medical School in 1978, holds a medical license in California, and is a graduate of the Ontario Naturopathic College, now The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.
