Topics will include testing for digestive enzyme functionality or presence, the different types of enzymes and what macronutrient they aid digestion of, the organs involved in digestive formation, how enzymes are made,  proper dosing of enzymes in patients, as well as conditions associated with low enzyme presence in the body. Participants should have very good talking points about digestive enzymes upon the conclusion.

Mona MorsteinNaturopathic Physician Dr. Mona Morstein earned a BS summa cum laude in Foods and Nutrition from ASU, and garnered her ND degree from National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Portland, OR in 1988. After completing a year residency at NCNM she moved to Great Falls, Montana where she had a private practice for 13 years, before joining Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, Tempe, AZ in 2002. She is Chair of the Nutrition Department Professor of Gastroenterology, and clinic supervisor. Dr. Morstein practices general naturopathic family medicine, treating all ages and both sexes, though she specializes in gastroenterology, diabetes, and women’s health.
