Thane Slagowski is the vice president of product development and quality for ISI Brands Inc. and is the head formulator for the Twinlabâ, Twinlabâ Fuelâ, Metabolifeâ, Nature’s Herbsâ, Alvita Teasâ, WeilTM and Inner Balanceâ dietary supplements. Throughout his career, he has developed more than 1,000 consumer products, including many private label products for CVS, Wal-Mart and Alticor. As the head of quality for ISI Brands Inc., he has successfully implemented NSF and kosher certifications and has enjoyed very favorable reports from independent auditors and consumer advocacy groups.
Christopher Shanahan is a food industry analyst with the Frost & Sullivan’s North America Chemicals, Materials & Foods Practice. Since joining Frost & Sullivan, Shanahan has helped companies gain impartial insight into the food ingredient and specialty chemical industries through custom and syndicated research. Prior to joining Frost & Sullivan, Shanahan was a fellow and research associate at the Ohio State University’s Agricultural Economics Department. He brings with him econometric-based market analysis, behavioral economics and agribusiness statistical benefit-cost analysis. He has experience in market forecasting, market scenario engineering, product innovation diffusion and technology adoption analysis and developing business strategy decision models. Shanahan received acclaim for his research in the Review of Agricultural Economics journal, Agribusiness and the International Food and Agribusiness Management Association Review.
