INSIDER Education Series

According to research from NMI’s 10th annual Health & Wellness Trends Database®, 39 percent of consumers indicate they seek out foods/beverages to improve their digestive health. In this Webinar, Greg Stephens will talk about:

  • The latest trends and consumer insights in digestive health
  • Top products consumers first started using to improve digestion and which products/ingredients they associate with digestive/colon health
  • Consumer insights, including demographics, attitudes, behaviors and product usage patterns of consumers who currently use foods/beverages or dietary supplements in preventing and treating digestive health problems

Americans spend more than $14 billion a year on heartburn medication alone; and in doing so, risk serious side effects such as dementia, hip fracture and pneumonia. Consumers spend more billions on products for other digestive complaints. The increasing evidence that digestive problems can be solved with nutrition and natural remedies means the business opportunities are huge, as is the opportunity to provide real benefit to the public.  Join Martie Whittekin as she talks about:

  • Probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes, fiber, herbs and core nutrients role in digestive health
  • Some common myths about acid reflux
  • Why supplementing stomach acid might actually be a better idea than shutting it off
