Partner Series—The History, Functions and Indications of CoQ10 as a Therapeutic Modality
INSIDER Partner Series
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is one of the most remarkable vitamin-like substances in nature. It was first isolated from beef heart in 1957 and after five decades, researchers from New Zealand reported in the American Journal of Cardiology (2008) that higher blood levels of CoQ10 in congestive heart failure correlated with improved longevity. CoQ10 is a vital part of the metabolic cardiology program Dr. Stephen T. Sinatra has used over the years. This Webinar will discuss the history, functions and indications of CoQ10 as a therapeutic modality.
