Omega-3s

Omega-3s are a class of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) that includes the short-chain alpha linolenic acid (ALA), and long-chain eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Available from marine and plant sources, omega-3s support the fluidity of cellular membranes, impact the body’s inflammatory responses, and may enhance the health of the joints, skin, and circulatory and nervous systems.
